Emil Yakubov works in the Canadian lower-middle-market M&A sector, advising business owners and purchasers on valuation, transaction structure, financing, succession, and deal execution. With a background in financial management and deep experience across both buy-side and sell-side M&A, he has reviewed hundreds of transactions and earned a reputation for aligning sellers, operators, and investors through creative, win-win structures.

Leveraging a trusted network of brokers and intermediaries, Emil identifies off-market opportunities early and moves decisively when the right deal arises. He holds a BBA in Financial Management and has advised founders, family businesses, and investors on growth, capital raising, and exits.

He founded Gideon Partners to create a dedicated succession and investment platform for Canada's Jewish business community — one designed to preserve Jewish-owned enterprise, expand access to private business ownership, and turn commercial success into enduring community impact. As Founder and Managing Partner, Emil is responsible for Gideon's strategy, business-owner relationships, transaction sourcing, capital partnerships, and overall development.
