Five Principles That Govern Every Decision

Stewardship
We respect the responsibility that comes with acquiring a company built over many years.
Alignment
We seek structures that align founders, investors, operators, and management.
Discipline
We are prepared to decline opportunities that do not meet our financial or operational standards.
Action
We pursue companies where specific, realistic initiatives can create value.

Financing Philosophy
Responsible Capital Structures
Gideon uses financing as a tool — not as a substitute for a strong business. Transaction structures may combine investor equity, bank financing, seller notes, founder rollover, and other appropriate forms of capital.
The amount of debt must reflect the stability of the company, its reinvestment needs, and its ability to withstand downside scenarios.
